BotSoc outing

You are invited to join the Botsoc Outing to Farm Olienhoff and the Boshoff Winery in the Otavi district, planned for the long weekend in August, Friday 26th  – Sunday 28th.

There is natural flora, the Otavi fountains and the opportunity of a winetasting and dinner at Boshoff Winery.

Further details will be sent to participants once we know who will be going.

Please note, accommodation is available at Olienhoff Guesthouse or at Boshoff Winery - nothing to choose between the two places except that neither has the availability for a large group.

Guided Walk in the Botanic Gardens

A donation of N$20 is requested from non-BotSoc members. BotSoc members and children free of charge. Books and BotSoc T-shirts will be on sale and refreshments will be available.

All Covid-19 regulations will be in place –

  • The groups will be small
  • There will be social distancing
  • Sanitiser will be available
  • You must wear a mask
  • Your temperature will be taken
  • There will be a register to sign
  • Books etc will be on sale
  • Refreshments will be available for a short while afterwards.
